Real Reindeer is run by Angie Nelson at a beautiful bespoke reindeer facility in rural England. She has 17 years experience of owning reindeer and taking reindeer to events. Her close association with a Sami family (the traditional Scandinavian reindeer herders) initially enabled her to acquire the knowledge and expertise for successful reindeer keeping. Through years of research and ownership Angie is now leading the way in the UK for reindeer welfare and has provided CPD days for vets all over the country who have reindeer owners as clients. The reindeer are born on the farm and stay all their lives enjoying retirement with full 5* facilities.
We are able to bring to both adults and children the fantastic opportunity of meeting the reindeer and learning all about them.
